      Mika Nenonen graduated in design from Lahti Institute of
      Design and has subsequently studied in the Masters programme
      at the University of Art and Design Helsinki. During the course of his
      career, Mika has designed a wide array of utility items ranging from
      unique pieces of work to items mass-produced in millions. He currently
      lives and works in Copenhagen.


      Heini Riitahuhta achieved a Master of Arts degree at the University
      of Art and Design Helsinki in 2002. That same year she received an
      honourable mention in Mino, Japan.Her journey in Arabia started as a
      result of her diploma work, the Helmi oil lamp. Heinicurrently works in
      the Arabia Art Department. She also chairs the Art Department Society
      and has taken part in many private and group exhibitions in Finland and
      abroad.


      Kim Simonsson achieved a Master of Arts degree at the University of Art
      and Design Helsinki in 2000 and then went to work in Canada for three years.
      Kim was votedYoung Artist of 2004 and during the same year was invited to
      be the Arabia ArtDepartment Society’s first guest artist. This year, he joined
      the Society as a permanentmember. Kim has participated in numerous private
      and group exhibitions both in Finland and abroad.


      Japanese-born Yuka Takahashi has worked in Helsinki as a designer
      since 2002. She graduated in Product Design at Kobe Design University
      in Japan in 1996. Yuka achieved a Master of Arts degree at the University
      of Art and Design Helsinki in 2006.In 2007, she went on to establish
      Harni-Takahashi Ltd. Design and Architecture incollaboration with the architect
      and designer Pekka Harni.


      Tiina Tarvainen graduated as a Bachelor of Arts in 2005 and is currently
      studying in the Masters programme at the University of Art and Design Helsinki.
      She mainlydesigns products made of ceramics and glass. In addition, Tiina
      designs fabrics and creates illustrations.
